Another great book for “Dummies”. I’m new to Mac and this book has proven to be very valuable. Didn’t have time to take the Mac classes that are offered at the store, so there were things about the Macbook that I had no clue how to do. I’m reference this book frequently and would be lost without it.
The only reason I didn’t give it a five was because there was an issue downloading from Itunes and I couldn’t find the solution in the book. (I called Apple and was helped after some research from the technician).
Maybe I should give the book a 4 and 1/2.

Great book, It would be nice to have bought a more up to date version, barley covers anyhing on I chat, other than that it really helps out if your a beginner. Not as huge as most help you mac books out there. Easy refrence guide to get you the info you need.

Although helpful in sections for older Macbooks I couldn’t fight my way through to the end of this one. The author can not separate himself from his egocentric ideals. As both a Mac and PC user I find it irritating to constantly be told that Mac users are more intellectual than PC users. Many times, over and over again we are reminded that the author, Mark Chambers, thinks highly of Mac users and looks down at the lesser PC user. It gets old by page 50. One sentence “You might have heard of the window switcher: a uniquely intelligent species that’s becoming more and more common these days” sealed the deal for me.
Disappointing
